It also has antioxidant properties and supports the health of the lungs and sinuses. This formula contains pure turmeric for optimal benefits. While many “turmeric” products today contain curcumin extract, an active compound that contains some—but not all—of the benefits of turmeric, our turmeric is made from whole plant parts. This is the Ayurvedic way. From the perspective of Ayurveda, isolating a naturally occurring compound from a plant can create imbalance over time, whereas using the whole plant offers more balance.

Our experts take great care during collection, pre-processing, preservation, and evaluation of the herbs according to the classical Ayurvedic texts. Our farmers harvest their herbal ingredients from the right regions (either directly from cultivators, the forests of Western Ghats, or the Himalayan region) at the right harvesting time to ensure maximum yield and the desired phytochemical constituent. Specific Vedic chants and rituals for collecting the herbs are followed in order to approach the plant with due respect and to enliven the inner strength and vitality of the plant for maximum effectiveness.

This herbal blend is manufactured in Kerala in India—the birthplace of Ayurveda. The manufacturing facility is situated on ancestral land, overseen by a traditional household of vaidyas who have passed down the knowledge of Ayurveda for hundreds of years.
