Spiced Coconut Smoothie


  • Water and meat from one young coconut
  • 2-3 Medjool dates, pits removed and chopped roughly
  • ⅛ tsp. ground cardamom


  1. Blend all ingredients to a smooth purée. It's better to use a powerful blender, like the Vitamix or similar, since dates are hard to blend.
  2. Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled.
