Late Summer Pitta-Pacifying Dishes

For our August menu we have invited Domnick Mason, a professional chef for 27 years, to share his creative flare for food. During the past decade he has served as head chef at various ayurvedic, vegetarian facilities, including The Raj Maharishi Ayurveda Health Center and Spa in Fairfield, Iowa, where he currently cooks, teaches ayurvedic cooking classes, and invents new ayurvedic recipes. These colorful, cooling August dishes will pacify Pitta dosha in late summer.
