Prepare and Repair Your Body for Spontaneous Weight Loss

Integrative neurologist Dr. Kulreet Chaudhary discovered a beautiful side effect to the eating and lifestyle tools she gave her brain patients – spontaneously shedding excess pounds. In this, her first book, she shows us how to sharpen the brain, and smarten and heal the gut. Weight gain is not about the food, but about the body’s environment. Excess weight is a result of the body being in a toxic, inflammatory state. If your body is not prepared or “primed” for weight loss, you will fight an uphill biochemical battle. Her program is not about "you can’t have or do;" it’s about adding simple teas and herbs, and succeeding without giving up any foods you love.

About the Author:

Dr. Kulreet Chaudhary is an integrative neurologist, neuroscientist, and a pioneer in the field of integrative medicine. She has participated in more than twenty clinical research studies in the areas of multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, ALS, and diabetic peripheral neuropathy. Dr. Chaudhary is the cofounder of Habit Change and currently serves as the chief medical offer for New Practices, Inc. With this work, she is transforming allopathic medical practices into healing centers that use compassion-based health coaching, meditation, and integrative medicine to combat chronic diseases.

Dharma Parenting – Understand Your Child’s Brilliant Brain for Greater Happiness, Health, Success and Fulfillment

Parents often marvel at how differently each of their children operate: one child might learn quickly and forget quickly, while another learns slowly and forgets slowly; one kid might be hyperactive, while another is slow moving; and one may fall asleep quickly, only to awake in the night, while another takes hours to fall asleep.

In Dharma Parenting: Understand Your Child's Brilliant Brain for Greater Happiness, Health, Success, and Fulfillment, renowned scientists Dr. Robert Keith Wallace and Dr. Frederick Travis explain the reasons for these differences and use their groundbreaking scientific research to help parents ascertain their child’s unique brain/body type. Drawing on the time-tested knowledge of these Ayurvedic types and combining it with the latest understanding of how the brain is shaped by natural maturation, Wallace and Travis show parents how to better understand their child’s natural inclinations and corresponding strengths and weaknesses.

“An insightful combination of ancient truths and modern brain science that can help us become wiser parents, raise healthier and happier kids, and create a better world.”

– David Lynch

Maharishi Ayurveda and Vedic Technology: Creating Ideal Health for the Individual and World, Adapted and Updated from The Physiology of Consciousness: Part 2

Maharishi Ayurveda and Vedic Technology provides a complete understanding of the ancient Vedic knowledge in the light of modern science. Dr. Robert Keith Wallace is eminently qualified to present this new approach to health and life, which is derived from the revival of this ancient tradition of India by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the founder of the Transcendental Meditation technique. For over 40 years, Dr. Wallace worked closely with Maharishi as he met with modern scientists and scholars of the Vedic tradition to create Maharishi Ayurveda and Maharishi Vedic Science and Technology. The book presents a world view based on a profound understanding of the relationship of consciousness and matter, mind and body, and extends our concept of health beyond the individual to include the collective health of society.
